Third grade teacher, Megan O’Shea, has spent her whole life in the Catholic school system. Teaching is in her blood. Her mother was even one of her teachers growing up. Ms. O’Shea received her Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies from Loyola Marymount University while simultaneously receiving her Elementary Credential. Ms. O'Shea also earned a Master's of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Educational Technology Leadership from Concordia University Portland. Before coming to SMCES, Ms. O'Shea was a long term substitute teacher, as well as Middle School Robotics teacher.
Ms. O'Shea believes that every student is capable of learning in his or her own way. Her goal is to help each student to become problem solvers with growth mindsets.
Ms. O'Shea loves spending time with her family and her dog, Jack. Some of her favorite things to do are play volleyball, paint, and crochet.
