Mrs. Vicky Landin » Biography

Vicky is the Director of Special Events for St. Monica Catholic Schools.  She began planning large-scale events and fundraisers for the schools in 2016, after a 25-year career as an Emmy-nominated television producer, writer and director.  St. Monica has been her spiritual home since 1989, and she has served on many parish committees & core teams. She’s produced multiple videos over the years for the parish, the archdiocese, and for her sister parish in Dandora, Kenya.  She continues to produce video content for the parish and schools, as well as for our signature events like the SMASH Gala, and Dancing with Our Stars!

She enjoys rallying our very dynamic community to put forth fun, exciting and successful events that help create even more opportunities for the children in the elementary and the high school to succeed.   As in any production she’s ever worked on, she most enjoys the people who come out to help by bringing their unique talents and gifts to the table. Our community is strong, creative, faithful and generous, and she appreciates spending creative energy to support St. Monica.

She received a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of Texas, and a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre/Stage Design from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Her guiding principle:  “With God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
