A native Californian, Mrs. Tuverson grew up in the San Fernando Valley, attending LAUSD schools (Chandler Avenue, Woodland Hills Elementary, and Parkman Jr. High), until high school when she moved with her family to Agoura, Ca (now Agoura Hills) where she attended Agoura High School. While in high school she became very involved in the Choral Music and Theatre Arts programs. Mrs. Tuverson was introduced to SMCES as a parent in 1996 when her son, Brent was accepted into the Kindergarten. She became a yard supervisor in 1998, and accepted the job as Technology Coordinator in 2005, and as they say, the rest is history. Mrs. Tuverson really enjoys Educational Technology. Bringing new technology to the students, and watching them acquire new skill sets makes her job exciting. In her down time, Mrs. Tuverson enjoys college sports, especially the UCLA Bruins. She has had UCLA season football tickets for the last fifteen years.
