Ms. Koerber is a recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame's Alliance for Catholic Education program, where she spent two years teaching middle school ELA in New Orleans while working on a master's degree in education. She has a state teaching credential in English Language Arts and a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. For her undergraduate studies at UCLA, she majored in Communication Studies and minored in Spanish.
She has taught English as a Foreign Language in Spain, worked as a teacher and counselor for international students in Los Angeles, and worked as a school travel coordinator for Rustic Pathways. As the resource teacher, she hopes to serve all students in the diverse ways they learn through various supports and adjustments. Outside of school, she loves practicing her Spanish, reading, hiking, and her cat, Nemo.
