Mrs. Valerie Vespe is a former principal of a Catholic PK-8th-grade elementary school. At the commencement of her career, she graduated from the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio where she discovered her passion for teaching and acquired her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Professionally, she has intentionally chosen to teach, minister and administer solely in Catholic Schools and parishes throughout the past 24 years. Mrs. Vespe’s approach as an educator and administrator is to plan creatively well, work devoutly and steadily collaborate to utilize innovative ways to cater to the spiritual, mental and physical growth of each student. Her former teachers, who ignited her curiosity and instilled in her to work to the best of her ability, inspire her daily. She looks forward to sharing that inspiration with us at SMCES. Mrs. Vespe’s devotion to Catholic education is stronger than ever. Through her recent professional experience, she has a great desire to aid in providing a superior Catholic education for the students. When "off duty" Mrs. Vespe enjoys watching movies, exploring new restaurants and going to the beach.
